Role Summary:

The person will be part of the DEV/OPS PLM team for teamcenter application as coordinator and responsible of the application support. This person will work in collaboration with the PLM application owner, the PLM system administrator and other, external application, DEV/OPS team. This person will lead a team of people remotely located.

Essential Responsibilities:

The L2 team leader will be responsible to collect INC coming from L1/users coordinate the L2 support team in respect of the SLA and manage the RCA analysis with the intent of reduction INC inflow

The person, on need, can act directly on the incident providing the solution to the user, anyhow the main responsibility is to ensure that the L2 support team works in accord to priorities and the agreed service level agreement

Here below the main tasks:
  • Follow and define a structured process for INC routing and resolution
  • Collect INC from users, prioritize, classify
  • Monitor and keep under control INC inflow and Aging
  • Report out INC status/statistics to PLM manager and APP owner
  • Pass INC to Sysadmin or L3
  • Solve INC, with the help of the team or individually
  • Create FAQs documents for users and for L2 support team
  • Manage the L2 support team knowledge transfer in case of team member rotation
  • Perform RCA so that new code fixes can be applied to reduce INC inflow
  • Monitor interfaces/data transfer flow and data quality
  • Support the Application Owner in testing / regression testing as needed, after code deploy


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Experience in Teamcenter or other PLM application
  • Experience on process mapping and process quality management
  • Six/Sigma certification
  • Knowledge of Lean or Agile methodologies
  • Experience on SQL scripting and batch/shell scripting.
  • Information technology background
