The Marine Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing both Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar marine and industrial equipment at customer jobsites.  Troubleshoots complex electrical failures of marine gear and has engines.  Performs  heavy electrical repairs, alignments, engine overhauls, alternator and marine gear R&I.  Accurately prepares and submits service reports, parts requisitions  and other necessary paperwork. Safely drives a service vehicle and performs other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications Certified Marine Analyst.  Must have experience diagnosing and troubleshooting advanced electrical and Tier IV issues with marine and industrial equipment; control systems preferred.  Must be able to perform vibration analysis for electronic controls.  Must be well organized and have the ability to prioritize workload while providing excellent customer service.  Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
