Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for a Production Control Planner to support Artificial Lift in our Stuart Roosa facility in Claremore, OK

Essential Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for total ownership of assigned work orders, from creation until completion, with regards to compliance to complete BOM and process routings
  • Maintain consistent flow of work orders to production work centers with complete bill of materials, overcoming all shortages prior to release to the production work centers
  • Update and confirm actual lead time for subcomponents
  • Act as the liaison between manufacturing, operations and the distribution function as it relates to manufacturing load
  • Execute work orders to the master schedule and address all shortages
  • Process Quality Notifications and create scrap replacements and rework work orders as required
  • Work to maximize production capacity by establishing, adjusting and monitoring production schedules consistent with master schedules.
  • Work on tasks and instructions associated with processes and/or equipment to be used for sequence of operations to meet finished good needs.
  • Actively interface with all phases of management, logistics and production areas to help direct daily production requirements and production flow.
  • Report directly to Production Control Leader, dotted line to Supervisor or Shop Manager
  • Own assigned areas to ensure material & schedule align to keep assembly working
  • Supports requirements as assigned


Qualifications/Requirements:

 

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of related experience. Bachelor's Degree (strongly preferred) with 2+ years of experience.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Recognize when level of authority has been reached and elevate for resolution
  • Must be able to prioritize responsiveness to multiple customer demands
  • Must understand capacity issues
  • Must be able to communicate shortages to customers when requested
  • Must be able to load to agreed upon customer capacity
  • Strong listening, influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Solid organizational skills


Desired Characters:

 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • APICS certification
  • SAP experience
  • MRP experience
  • Lean planning experience.
