Payroll Assistant - Temporary
An opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Assistant to cover a 6 months period, reporting to the Shared Services Team Leader. The role will be responsible for ensuring that all transactions relating to payroll for employees are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Duties include creating profiles, calculation groups, approval groups, pay agreements, pay types and assigning dimensions and validating to specific projects. Other responsibilities include importing timesheets into Dynamics AX2012; importing into Sage via Interface with Dynamics AX 2012 module and the preparation of Manual Premium and Indirect Production Cost Journals on a monthly basis.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of legislation and HMRC guidelines relating to payroll, have attained CIPP national payroll certificate or have previous payroll experience, experienced in Microsoft Office; SAGE; Dynamics AX 2012 and time-writing. Pensions experience working with RTI is desirable. Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines is also a requirement of the role, as is a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
