Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is looking to recruit an Expeditor to join its team based in Aberdeen. Thie role will be responsible for the desk expediting of purchase orders to ensure that they are delivered/ready for collection within project schedule/purchase order terms.
Creation of daily expediting reports in materials management system (i.e. MATERIA).
Daily desk expediting of purchase orders.
Updating of materials management system (i.e. MATERIA) with the expediting status of Purchase Orders.
Continually set expediting follow up dates in materials management system (i.e. MATERIA).
Issue expediting progress reports and update system accordingly.
Notifying Senior Expeditor / Supply Chain Manager of any potential schedule slippages.
Maintain an auditable file of all relevant expediting documentation for each purchase order in relevant shared drive / area.
Demonstrate commitment to safe working practices.
Understands and lives Woods vision, values and behaviours.
Understands and works to the Wood Financial Management Framework
Skills / Qualifications
Qualified to ISCED Level 3 (Upper Secondary)
Knowledge, skills and experience:
Detailed knowledge of Suppliers and Expediting Status Reporting.
Previous use of ERP's such as Maximo, Oracle, SAP.
- Strong Team Player.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Adaptability and Problem Solving Skills.
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines.
