For a client active in the industry and Oil & Gas sector, we are looking for a 'Operations Manager'
In this position you are responsible for the overall services within the organization. In your duty you will deal with work planning, overall management and management of employees (Testers, Mechanics and Supervisors), streamlining all of the business activities and performance on site, implementing the business strategy (in accordance with the MT ), HSE management, budget management and maintenance and operation of different equipment. You are also responsible for commercial matters. This includes bringing in new customers and conducting sales conversations. You do this partly independently but also in collaboration with the sales department. You know the market like no other. You make optimal use of your existing network and know how to convert this into new opportunities and commercial successes for the organization.
In short, you are the driven personality they are looking for.
• Independent, entrepreneurial and natural leadership;
• A couple of years experience within the Oil & Gas industry;
• Trained to MBO / HBO Technical Business Administration level or level obtained by knowledge and experience;
• Good knowledge and experience in the financial field and project management;
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
