Role Summary/Purpose

This role, based at BHGE's main campus in Houston, Texas, will lead multiple teams of managerial and self-directed reports that oversee service and solution delivery via employees, staff augmentation and managed network services. This is a highly complex, global environment and experience with coordinating across teams and regions is necessary to achieve goals and manage expectations. BHGE are currently engaged in significant transformational activities that involve creating new ways of doing business, applying ITIL methodologies and pursuing new technologies that result in a predictive infrastructure operational state. Experience at being a 'change agent' and being comfortable with driving solutions is essential for success.

Essential Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Digital Operations Manager, you will:
  • Manage multiple teams responsible for maintaining network standards, security compliance, deployment and operational support
  • Collaborate closely with this position's peer equivalent that oversees data centers, storage, and server hosting
  • This role will be the face of the network organization in areas of compliance, incident management methodologies, capacity planning, and project delivery
  • Communicate with internal product companies regarding investment needs, platform capabilities and service degradations
  • Work closely with the BHGE revenue-generating, field connectivity and manufacturing environments
  • Develop roadmap to close the gap between current and future standards and industry best practices. Provide input to re-engineer network architectures as needed
  • Perform goal setting for the team and align toward company and Digital Technology goals
  • Work collaboratively with the information security organization to assist in the detection and mitigation of security events
  • Work collaboratively with other operations and architecture groups to implement standards and best practices, designs and re-engineers network components as needed

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in global networking along with established leadership across this discipline and function

Eligibility Requirements
  • Travel up to 10% of the time, as required

Desired Characteristics
  • Aptitude, experience and/or passion for the creation and execution of an enterprise-wide networking environment
  • Prior experience driving transformation resulting from divestitures, mergers and acquisitions is a plus
