Collaborate with Segment (GBU/PL) and Geo-Zone leadership to design and execute strategies to improve regional Asset and Inventory management.  Monitor, communicate, and report performance metrics and use the results to drive change. Coordinate global Capex and inventory forecasts through Global PL Directors.  Function as gatekeeper between operational demands and manufacturing / vendor supply.  Provide leadership in ensuring compliance to processes and procedures. Train geozone asset and inventory personnel on relevant policies and corporate programs.


Collaborate with Segment and GeoZone leadership in defining and implementing asset and inventory strategies and standards to optimize inventory & asset investments. Manage and execute strategic choices around:

Slow moving assets & inventory

Redeployments strategy and rules

Collaborate with Segment, GeoZone leadership, Weatherford Manufacturing, and Engineering to manage strategic choices around:

Capital Equipment Forecast

Deployment and Commercialization of new technology

Replenishment strategy (Make to Order, Make to Stock) and Rules (Min/Max, Safety Stock/DRP).

Identify and highlight key issues preventing the execution of asset strategies and the attainment of results; work with Product Lines and GeoZone Leadership to drive change: coach and support development of targeted improvement action plans.

Acquisition, Replenishment and Redeployment;

Understand, communicate, and implement the overall process to ensure countries and sites optimize:

The acquisition of new assets in alignment with asset processes and targeted turns / utilization

The replenishment of inventory in alignment with inventory processes and target KPIs.

Act as final Product Line authority for global movements / redeployments.

Liaise with Segment and GeoZone leadership to ensure Asset and Inventory Transfer Policies and procedures are adhered to, including the timely release of slow moving assets and that Inventory Without Borders (IWB) process is used when needed.

Perform periodic on-site sample count audits to ensure reported results are accurate.

Coordinate with PL, PSL and GBSC leadership to develop and implement competency standards and training programs.

Ensure GeoZones and branch plants are educated in the areas of asset & inventory accountability / responsibility including governance, policies, procedures, corporate programs

Provide Monthly and Quarterly reports on CAPEX spend, Asset Utilization, Inventory $ movement, redeployments with commentary against prior actuals as well as forecasts as per relevant management reporting requirements.

Support GeoZone and Site Management in ensuring 100% process and ERP system transaction discipline, compliance to company procedures and work instructions.

Provide Product Line support for Capex budgeting, asset optimization, inventory reduction.

Manage and support ERP master data maintenance specific to the Product Line, collaborating with Segment/GeoZone leadership, GBSC, and others as required to ensure the integrity of Segment reporting as it relates to Assets and Inventory.

Adhere to and enforce all Asset & Inventory policies, including procurement process for capital, Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) while following the Grant of Authority (GOA) approval process.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by manager/s within the physical constraints of the job.



Technical or business degree plus 10+ years experience or equivalent

Excellent managerial skills

Strong organizational and communication skills

Familiarity with reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

Familiarity with mathematical operations such as statistical analysis.

Good computer skills

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
