OVERALL FUNCTIONAL AREA RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Focus on tax activities within APAC while taking strategic direction and guidance from Corporate-based functions
  • Be "customer-focused" with respective partners within the broader BHI organization


ROLE-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare tax returns or review tax returns prepared by tax agent
  • Prepare or review provisional tax computation for purposes of statutory audit
  • Work with tax agent to complete transfer pricing documentation
  • Review contracts/tenders from tax perspective and provide tax comments
  • Analyse, document and update uncertain tax position (FIN 48)
  • Support execution of tax planning strategies to improve ETR
  • Support tax compliance matters in SEA
  • Support tax audit matters in SEA
  • Support BHI finance organization in achieving Corp Finance objectives
  • Utilize tax technology and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communicate with the tax bureau for tax compliance from time to time
  • Work with external advisor under the supervision of the tax manager
  • Other temporary work assigned by tax manager
