Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, a GE Company is seeking an Inventory Specialist for our Artificial Lift Tulsa, OK facility. Candidate will work in the Production Control team interfacing with shop functions on 3rd shift. This role is integral in facilitating flawless execution to drive customer outcomes

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Create and monitor production orders in SAP
  • Responsible for communicating with other departments about inventory status
  • Make suggestions on substitutions based on inventory shortages and manage changes on customer orders
  • Assist in acquiring inventory to fill shortages on builds
  • Responsible for ordering parts as needed
  • Responsible for making inventory adjustments in SAP
  • Handle special projects as assigned

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be willing to work 3rd shift
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft office suite
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a team environment and work under a deadline
  • Must have strong verbal and written skills
  • Flexible with working overtime as needed with short notice

Desired Characteristics:
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SAP - Preferred SAP experience in Inventory management
  • Order management experience
  • SharePoint/Workspace experience
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of the oil and gas industry
  • General knowledge of Artificial Lift product line
