Role Summary:

The Global PMO Leader is highly skilled in project management methodologies and supports the adoption of specific project management Processes and Practices such as: planning/ risks processes, methodologies, templates, forms and governance. Ensuring the right processes, role, definitions, tools and skilled people.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for supporting the PM in managing and delivering all aspects of projects, ITO through OTR, for an end customer and will be measured on timely delivery and closure of open items, contribution margin, risk mitigation, and leadership
  • Responsible for the longer term processes and procedures that will generate sustainable financial performance of multiple projects worldwide.
  • Provide deep domain expertise in the core project execution methodologies: project management, planning, risk management for offshore projects
  • Ensure project execution policies and procedures are managed in FPS QMS, ensure alignment inside BHGE and develop/ deploy new procedures as required
  • Work with key DP functional stakeholders to ensure common execution models and roles across segments and poles
  • Maintain skill assessment models for core jobs supporting FPS projects (PM, Project Planning, Risk) and facilitate skills development
  • Liaise with ITO and provide advice on execution models , bid inputs, and lessons learned
  • Coordinate with Six Sigma Quality resources to drive key improvements supporting FPS Projects


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or Business Management field
  • Significant years in O&G business or related business in projects related roles, proven years in managing major projects or PMO roles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, process management skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Portuguese
  • Financial/ Technical analysis acumen
  • Strong knowledge of O&G technology
  • Quality and cost driven

  • Proven change agent with ability to influence at all organization levels
  • Team builder and player, leading cross-functional teams and improvement efforts
  • Decisive, vision and self-motivated - able to take conceptual direction and translate into concrete approaches to deliver direction
