KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manpower Planning

  • Assist in preparing the annual manpower plan and budget
  • Ensure that the planned recruitment is implemented as per the Manpower plan
  • Provide assistance in preparing a database of candidates that forms part of the future campaigns and hiring plans

Recruitment & Selection Process

  • Review manpower requisitions and supporting documents received from the supervisor, ensure they are in line with manpower plans and recommend the most suitable recruitment activity that will enable adequate, timely and cost-effective recruitment
  • Prepare in coordination with concerned departments, when required, recruitment materials including advertisement text, website update, etc
  • Coordinate the approved recruitment activity with manpower, recruitment and local agencies to ensure proper and adequate supply of resumes following company policies and procedures
  • Receive, review segregate, compile resumes and screen applications ensuring that candidates match specified requirements in accordance with the approved job description and/or filtering criteria., forward filtered resumes with a summary to the hiring department for consideration and follow up with selection process.
  • Participate in and coordinate the recruitment process including interviewing, testing, short-listing, selection of candidates and negotiation of employment contract in order to recruit competent and proficient personnel
  • Exercise proper communication between the Recruitment Section from one side and the candidates/agencies and concerned sections/departments from the other side in order to keep all concerned parties informed of recruitment progress
  • Administer all pre-employment activities including checking references, verification of employment history and validation of education to ensure accuracy of submitted information
  • Prepare and submit to the direct supervisor , job offer approval request with compensation and benefit package recommendation and justification for special contracts and coordinate the approval process
  • Prepare job offers and submit to candidates/agencies in timely manner after obtaining proper approvals and notify hiring department to offer acceptance/rejection and the estimated mobilization dates
  • Coordinate medical tests, visa processing and mobilization formalities within establishes time frames
  • Prepare and submit employment contracts to candidates/agencies after obtaining proper approvals

Reporting

  • Provide up to date recruitment progress report to the supervisor on a daily basis
  • Prepare periodical reports and any other information required by the Management, Govt.bodies and other organizations , if required
 

Awareness of Policies and Procedures

  • Develop awareness of, and perform in accordance with, the Company establishes HR Polices and Procedures
  • Become familiar with company policies and procedures and guidelines in order to provide accurate information to all candidates

 

HSE Responsibility

  • Conduct all work activities in safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by not taking on any task(s) that are perceived to be unsafe
  • Complies with the company QHSE Management system
  • Reports all incidents or near misses to supervisor/ manager or QHSE representatives

Other duties

Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Minimum Qualification

  • Degree in Human Resources/ Business Administration or Commerce from recognized University

Minimum Experience

  • 4 years direct and relevant experience in Human Resources with minimum 2 years in recruitment at a senior level preferably with oil/gas industry
