Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is searching for an offshore Measurement Technician with experience in the oil and gas industry.

Work schedule of 14x14 with a work terminal along the coast of LA.

Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required.

  • Calculation of gas meter chart volumes in accordance with AGA No. 3 and liquid columns in accordance with ASTM standards from meter and production areas.
  • Record meter readings and installation of data on meter cards, work orders or field service orders and enter data into hand-held computers.
  • Record maintenance information, including test results, material usage, and repairs made to fluid and gas measuring equipment.
  • May preform other duties as assigned.

Skills / Qualifications

Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-3 years of experience required

Preferred: Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; 3-5 years' experience preferred
