Role Summary/Purpose:

To develop and lead US sales strategy and sales team to deliver business targets and growth.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of US Sales Leader (PPS-P&M), you will:
  • Be responsible for the delivery of the annual orders budget at required profitability level for the PPS Region
  • Build and manage a team of PPS sales capable of delivering on the Region orders budget at required profitability level
  • Strategically manage customer relationships, with particular attention given to Key Accounts, Strategic Maintenance and Major Project opportunities
  • Organize the sales team to be the voice of the customer within PPS
  • Develop and implement winning sales strategies for the Region consistent with the GSP
  • Establish relationships with the wider BHGE Key Account Managers to ensure that the interests of PPS are recognized and supported by the BHGE Key Account structure. Work with the wider BHGE organization to drive PPS synergy opportunities
  • Work with operations, product line, marketing, and commops to achieve the sales goals
  • Ensure NPI are identified, supported and orders realized within the Region
  • Lead the sales input to the GSP and MRP planning processes
  • Develop & maintain current knowledge of the Region industry trends and changes

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution with a minimum 9 years of experience in a commercial and/or operational role)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a commercial and/or operational role

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Travel 40% of the time, as required

Desired Characteristics:
  • A track record of success in sales within Process and Pipeline Services is essential
  • Experience within other functions within PPS
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or management position
  • Familiarity with the full PPS product line Pre-commissioning & Maintenance
  • Knowledge of commercial and contract language
  • Existing contacts across a wide customer base. Management & executive-level contacts with key customers
  • Knowledge of the PPS region marketplace for PPS services including key customer characteristics and behaviors, key opportunities, and competitor characteristics and behaviors
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation and facilitation skills
  • Customer focused with the ability to build strong and effective client relationships
  • Ability to work successfully in a matrix organization. The ability to build a position and influence all stakeholders to desired outcome
  • High level of initiative, credibility and presence. Comfortable operating both strategically and at operational level
  • Sets high standards and aggressively pursues achievement
  • A highly motivated "self-starter" who is goal oriented, has strong interpersonal, communication and technical skills, and can drive a team to success
  • Creativity to identify solutions where PPS can bring unique value to customers, and the drive to realize this value
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and relevant PPS systems and software
