Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, a GE Company is currently hiring for a Senior Financial Reporting Manager/Corporate Controller based in Houston, TX

The Senior Financial reporting Manager will manage the Consolidation and Reporting process for Corporate entities/company codes.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Interact regularly with Product companies, Global Finance Centers, Regions and other functions

• Be responsible to oversight the consolidation process for Corporate entities /company codes

• Review and approve Corporate related entries as per thresholds defined the manual journal entries policy

• Be responsible for balance sheet and cash flow analysis for the Corporate entities

• Support of ERP implementations - ensuring reporting consistency

• Support various simplification initiatives across the BHGE including Company Codes reductions, Chart of accounts usage/guidance, DR/CR reporting

• Support account reconciliation process, ensure compliance with account reconciliation criteria, driving simplification, analysis and quality

• Work with BHGE Financial Reporting Leader to develop a world class Consolidation & reporting team

• Ensure key processes and controls are in place to support a world class financial closing operation

• Support business development with integration / disposition activities and related cross business schedules

• Participate in the compilation of the Pre-Close package, Key Accounts Review and Closing package

• Support ad-hoc requests from the segment Global Controller

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum of 7 years of Accounting experience

Desired Characteristics:

• Prior experience with Consolidations and Reporting

• Ability to work in matrix organization

• Ability to manage and direct staff

• Certified Public Accountant or Master's Degree in Business Administration

• Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

• PC proficiency

• Prior working knowledge with SAP, Oracle and HFM
