Role Summary:

The Senior Sales Training Manager will be responsible for leading the overall development and deployment of sales & commercial curriculum for new and existing employees across the Measurement & Controls business. This role will maximize salesforce effectiveness by identifying training needs, developing curriculum and material, and deploying training to the commercial teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role Senior Sales Training Manager, you will:
  • Lead the overall development of sales & commercial curriculum for new and existing employees
  • Enhancing sales & commercial employees' skills, performance, productivity and quality of work
  • Identify and assess training needs through job analysis, career paths, performance results, and consultation with key stakeholders
  • Develop an overall curriculum with material that addresses needs and expectations of commercial teams
  • Outline learning paths with HR for individualized training and development plans
  • Deploy a wide variety of training methods
  • Partner with the Product Companies to ensure that technical training is delivered to commercial teams
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and determine sales training improvements
  • Gather feedback from trainees and instructors and recommend suggestions to the learning process
  • Meet sales training financial objectives by forecasting sales training requirements; preparing and managing an annual budget
  • Develop managerial results by orienting new managers; conducting management training programs; providing learning resources; coaching individual managers
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Accomplish sales training and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Serve as the leader for Commercial portion of the BHGE ASPIRE program for M&C
  • Partner with Product Company and HR teams to drive recruitment and development of early career pipeline via the BHGE Aspire Program, including rotations and BHGE training

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial Sales training
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Sales and/or Training

Desired Characteristics:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Learning & Development from an accredited college or university
  • Experience with large scale sales training development and delivery in industrial / technical company
  • Previous experience leading / influencing complex global organizations
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
