Authorized to work in: US
Ensure planning, maintenance and upgrade of the Onshore equipment present in the job sites, plants and maintenance bases, through the maintenance teams, ensuring full compliance with the project schedules, job, costs, quality and safety standards.
Coordination/Supervision of a technical team (typically 5 persons during peaks with different technical backgrounds) for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of onshore equipment, in cooperation with all the relevant functions (mainly procurement and logistic), in order to guarantee the availability of the equipment for production.
Coordination/Supervision of extraordinary equipment repair, in case of major breakdown.
Strong orientation to production and productivity
Coordination and supervision of subcontractors (SAIPEM job site/yard and/or at their premises)
Preparations of estimations and technical specifications for the purchase of materials, as well as Support the Manager in the preparation of technical bid evaluation
Carry out works in compliance with practices and in collaboration with safety officers, authorities and bodies responsible for the issue of authorizations and special permits.
Resource will be initially based in SAIPEM America Office (Houston), then moving to on-shore yard.
The candidate is expected to develop specific technical knowledge of job site/yard sub-systems as well as managerial knowledge.
Education: Technical School/background (Mechanical or Electrical High School Diploma) is a mandatory requirement
Experience: Preferred 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
Special skills/knowledge : High communication skills, ability to work with group of people and manage constant medium/high workload. General knowledge of hydraulic and control systems is a mandatory requirement. Detailed knowledge of hydraulic and control systems is a plus (preferred)
Good knowledge of MS Office Package, AutoCAD knowledge preferred
Working conditions: Based initially in the main office (Houston), then based on SAIPEM yard. Initial travels to SAIPEM vessels/yard will be required for short/medium periods.
Physical Requirement: Allowed to work offshore, unrestricted worldwide mission, unrestricted work shift
