  • Internal - Executive Leadership team, Business Management team, Business Development team, Regional Superintendents, Project Managers and Estimators
  • External - Maintains external contact with clients, engineering firms, inspectors, agencies, and vendors
  1. Principle Responsibilities

Business Development Responsibilities:

  • Regular attendance at association and industry related functions for networking opportunities on behalf of the company
  • Plan, register, staff and execute promotional events like paper trade shows and other industry events specific to the region
  • Provide assistance to Director of Business Development and Marketing function at headquarters in developing and maintaining marketing content for digital & print media
  • Maintain accurate & up to date CRM tool (SalesPro)
  • Assist in creation & tracking of annual Business Development event calendar and budget
  • Assist in forecasting projects & revenue producing opportunities by geography and customers in region
  • Create a network of industry contacts to provide current, relevant intelligence on client and competitor activities
  1. Work Experience and Education Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience conducting business development in the pipeline construction, maintenance and integrity industry
  • Proven track record winning contracts
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry


  • Oil & Gas industry experience in the target markets of Houston, Denver and the West Coast
  • Working knowledge of CRM system (SalesPro)
