Under direct supervision, develops chemical products and processes by providing chemical and/or engineering analysis, testing, simulations, design construction of apparatus, data acquisition systems, and associated instrument maintenance and calibration. Produces data by using basic fluid mechanics concepts to enhance product development. Incorporates new design/techniques to accomplish project goals in product development. Incorporates HSE awareness, regulations, best practices, product/process reliability and quality into the development of products and processes. Apply working knowledge of test procedures and techniques. Debugs complex test setup problems and troubleshoots tools and equipment. Documents test procedures, data, observations, and results. Participates in planning and conducts assembly of components for prototype tools and for tests. Apply working knowledge of assembly tools and techniques. Documents assembly procedures and techniques. Acquires parts for prototypes; solicits help from and provides help to manufacturing as necessary; and assists in release of new designs into production Education:
An Associate's degree (Technician's Diploma) in related field of science is required at a minimum. 5 years of related experience or more in relared funcitons.
- Hands on Work in a lab environment with assembling tools and testing of equipment
- Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanisms and basic electrical
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing machines and tools
- Good English language verbal and written.
Expected Daily tasks:
- Read, interpret, and generate technical drawings, schematics, reports, etc.
- Apply working knowledge of materials, components, and their application
- Incorporate Reliability, HSE and Quality analysis techniques in all job processes
- Assists in handling field problems to maintain and improve products and services
- Occasionally travels to offsite locations to assemble, test, repair, and operate equipment
- Work with third party vendors to improve designs and receive parts and equipment.

Halliburton took the initial steps toward becoming a worldwide company in 1926. We sold five cementing units to an English company in Burma, the start of our Eastern Hemisphere operations, and Erle P. Halliburton sent his brothers to open our business in Alberta, Canada. We opened in Venezuela in 1940. By 1946, the company – using its innovative technology – had expanded into Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and the Middle East and began performing services for the Arabian-American Oil Company, the forerunner of Saudi Aramco.
In 1951, Halliburton made its first appearance in Europe as Halliburton Italiana SpA., a wholly owned subsidiary in Italy. In the next seven years, Halliburton launched Halliburton Company Germany GmbH, set up operations in Argentina and established a subsidiary in England.
In 1984, Halliburton provided all of the well completion equipment for the first multiwell platform offshore China. Two years later, Halliburton became the first American company to perform an oilfield service job on the China mainland
The final decade of the 20th century brought more changes and growth to Halliburton. The company opened a branch office in Moscow in 1991.
The company realigned its work into Eastern and Western Hemisphere operations in 2006, and in 2007, divided its service offerings into two divisions: Completion and Production, and Drilling and Evaluation.
