Worley are recruiting a Survey Coordinator In Aberdeen.


Job Purpose:

  • Carry out work in accordance with Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems
  • Perform tasks with due diligence & in compliance with the Company Management Systems
  • Support Surveyors with carrying out a wide range of surveys in line with relevant procedures
  • Support Scanning Technicians with carrying out laser scans in line with relevant procedures
  • Ensure high quality deliverables are produced and issued
  • Lead and mentor Dimensional Control survey personnel
  • Management of all aspects of projects ensuring efficient and cost effective delivery of quality data

Primary duties:

  • Estimating of upcoming survey & laser scanning work
  • Preparation of scope of work documents
  • Liaison with Materials Control team to ensure correct survey equipment is deployed
  • Liaison with Operational Co-Ordinator and Planner to ensure competent personnel is allocated to work
  • Hold planning / mobilisation brief with survey team and ensuring that the Scope of Work and contract deliverables are fully understood
  • Continual monitoring of progress on ongoing projects
  • Support for survey & laser scanning teams on ongoing projects
  • Client liaison for all future and ongoing survey & scanning activities


Required experience:


  • Experience as Dimensional Control Surveyor
  • Experience in Laser Scanning
  • Understanding and skilled application of all aspects of surveying


  • Working in Oil & Gas industry, both onshore and offshore
  • Experience as Lead Dimensional Control Surveyor
  • Experience managing large projects


Qualifications / training required:


  • Proficient use of 3D CAD packages
  • Proficient use of total stations and laser scanners


  • BSc in Surveying or other relevant subject
  • Full driving license
