JOB DESCRIPTION

Design and develop new products and services and/or modifications to existing products or services.  Includes project management activities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare conceptual drawings and layouts

Work on developing new innovative technology related to Wellhead surface equipment

Perform research and analysis of existing and legacy products

Material selection according to product Industry standards such as API 6A, NACE, etc.

Perform tasks associated with the design and development state such as tolerance analysis, perform or/and review FEA results, design calculations, etc.

Order prototypes

Assemble and test prototypes

Capable to interact with lab personnel

Develop test procedures

Document all test results

Maintain a complete design project file (Includes Design files)

Work with production and manufacturing engineering to ensure initial production runs are coordinated

Assist marketing/sales by providing technical data for brochures.

Assist other departments in regards to problems associated with the manufacture of products

Assist manufacturing by disposition non-conformance reports associated with products. Write repair or rework instructions if necessary.

Plan work schedule and keep Project Central updated

Keep all interested parties informed of project progress

Sustaining Support Engineering

R & D Engineering

Travel as needed to support product sales, field runs and troubleshooting

Must perform as the Engineer on call for a period of one week (7 days) on rotational basis with the team

Communicate with in-house and field personnel as need.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Minimum 2-3 years engineering experience.

B.S. degree in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, preferred.

Ability to organize and document.

Capable to work in Autocad, Creo (preferred), MathCAD, ANSYS (preferred).

General computer skills.
