JOB DESCRIPTION

Total responsibility for internal day-to-day operation of a regional or national Weatherford facility. You will handle critical activities including attaining maximum production efficiency, inventory, and shipping/receiving functions operating at levels which meet customers' needs and established financial benchmarks

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver quality operational services for Oil Country Manufacturing (OCM) parts, components, and other products to Weatherford (internal) customers and external customers. Ensure customers view OCM as the best provider of parts and repair/refurbishment services. Optimize use of parts inventories by maintaining high standards of operations

Establish policies and set standards of performance to improve the operating profitability and service to internal and external Customers

Experience leading and managing direct reports including demonstrated success in coaching, driving results, delivering performance feedback, and motivating a team to achieve agreed upon business objectives

Lead the delivery of strategies to improve OCM advantages in parts distribution, supply chain and logistics

Establish budgets and objectives and operate within these guidelines

Attend Business Planning Meetings, coordinate staff meetings, holding the teams accountable for QHSE performance, production, inventory and order fulfillment efficiency

Excellent communications and human relations skills with the ability to influence, interface and gain credibility across different levels in the organization

Proven results in identifying and implementing improvement initiatives

Ability to understand and be able to interpret and analyze financial and operating statements

Ensure adherence to all Weatherford safety policies and procedures that promote health and welfare of all personnel.

With assistance from HR: recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 5+ years experience or more in a management position

Possess and demonstrate a clear understanding of the following:

Supply chain management

Asset and inventory management

Equipment assembly, repair and recertification management

Logistics and shipping management

Excellent supervisory and organizational skills

Ability to delegate work effectively

Ability to work with diversity in a high-speed production environment

Good interpersonal skills and flexibility

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
