Reports to: Sales and Support Engineer - St Johns, Canada (USA)

Job Summary: To provide high quality operational support from initial planning to post job completion. Support and complement Canadian sales team by offering support to clients.

 

Main Activities & Responsibilities:

  • Uses operational business knowledge to coordinate the movement of equipment and materials
  • Verifies job readiness with regional headquarters
  • Validates job proposals and reviews requirements versus available resources
  • Assess service delivery requirements (including customer specific requirements / equipment / personnel mobilization) for each job
  • Coordinates the engagement and use of third-party services and equipment
  • Utilizes technical and operational expertise to provide solutions for customers
  • Directs asset management to order equipment specific to customer job requirements
  • Coordinates with customer to accurately fill out WIS to ensure proper tools and planning for job
  • Communicates job specific details and information to appropriate support staff
  • Communicates effectively with customers to resolve service delivery issues and irregularities
  • Consults with clients concerning products and services, promotes good client relations in house and at the well site (when applicable), and insure client satisfaction   
  • Confirms that all down-hole tools are ready, complete and correct for the job
  • Identify with sales team if any additional contingencies should be provided
  • Complete client visit / business activity reports on a weekly basis
  • Liaise with Operations Manager to conduct thorough pre and post job meetings with Tool Specialist
  • In country operational focal point for Canadian operations
  • Attend and participate in client meetings with new and existing customers in Canada
  • Participate in SIT and 3rd party interface testing
  • Be available to travel within North America on a frequent basis
  • Be available to travel to well site if required
  • Develop, coordinate and participate in client hospitality plans, in conjunction with Sales and Support Engineer and North America Sales Manager
  • Support marketing activities, both initial sales and after sales promotion, including Client Presentations
  • Maintain an awareness of new product lines, service and development
  • Be updated on customers plans and strategies
  • Have a full understanding of IFS, the WIP process including relevant documentation
  • Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations     
  • Promote and takes an active part in the quality improvement process
  • Recognize possible sales opportunities for additional Interwell products and services and communicates them to appropriate Sales personnel   
  • Assists with the review, validation and updates to local Interwell processes  
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and personal commitment to Interwell policies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in downhole tools and intervention equipment
  • Slickline and/ or E-Line Experience preferential
  • Previous experience of working within a client facing role
  • Able to work on their own, with a service minded attitude
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Organized and able to carry out multiple tasks in parallel
  • Experienced in us of MS Office software
  • Should hold all certification required to travel offshore in Eastern Canada
  • Should hold all certification to work onshore within Canada
