Position will be responsible for the day to day understanding of the plant's financial performance and assist the Plant Controller to ensure that the plant is incompliance with the company's interior controls. This position will report directly to the Plant Controller


Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Maintains and monitors all aspects of the financial reporting and manufacturing cost system.

Provide financial statements, reports, and analysis of manufacturing results and efficiencies.

Provide financial analysis to all levels of management.

Maintain a comprehensive system of internal controls.

Manage cash flow and cash flow forecasting.

Supervise the accounts payable function.

Maintain a fixed asset system including capital expenditure systems and controls.

Assist in budget preparation.

Assist in establishing and approving standard costs.

Assist in establishing and approving materials, labor, and overhead rates.

Monitor and insure accurate inventory records and values.

Assignments carried out to the highest quality level

Train new personnel on correct departmental operating procedures.

Coordinates financial operations with corporate and local management.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.




Knowledge of GAAP and SOX practices, including compliance to company policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards of work

Knowledge of ERP accounting software (JD Edwards preferred)

Experience working in a standard cost environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business, documents, reports and spreadsheets to present information not data to all levels of the organization

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Experience with forecasting and budgeting

Prior supervision experience

Bachelor's Degree preferred in Accounting, Finance and Economics or Other Business-Related field

7-10 years of Manufacturing Accounting/Finance Experience

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.


Knowledge of HFM (Hyperion)

Advance Degree - MBA, MS in Accounting

Certification: CPA, CMA
