JOB DESCRIPTION



  • Rig up and rig down of casing and tubing running equipment



  • Troubleshoot computer software and electronics hardware as required



  • Operate torque-turn computer during casing and tubing running operations offshore and onshore



  • Interpret and assess graphical representations of tubular makeups



  • Create job reports and event logs upon completion of the job for submission to supervisor



  • Perform routine calibration and packing of Joint Analyzed Makeup (JAM) equipment.



  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of JAM equipment.



  • Maintain records of sales and service.



  • Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.



  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.



  • Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.



  • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.



QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • 0 - 1 year experience
  • General knowledge of electronic troubleshooting
  • Good communication skills
  • Good computer skills (Windows XP/7, Microsoft Office Required)
  • The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.


 

Preferred:

  • Soldering skills preferred
  • Offshore/Deepwater work experience preferred
  • Torque-Turn/Thread inspection experience preferred
