The NAM is organized into three assets: two onshore assets, ('Groningen' and 'Land') and the offshore asset 'Onegas'. These assets are a critical Heartland for Shell production, with scope for field extension projects and infill / near-field opportunities.

The Land Asset operates some 25 main production facilities and 60 well sites, the most of those are mature assets.
We are currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer / Technologist to strengthen the Land Asset of NAM in our Assen based Project Delivery department.

The Asset is mature, but there are a lot of ongoing projects with typically short cycle times from idea generation to execution. This position will be based in the central offices in Assen working with a number of different engineering contractor firms located in the Netherlands

What is the role about?
The main goals of this position are to provide discipline expertise to project identification and matutration. The focus is on the concept select phase up-to Basis for Design. Thereafter activities focus mainly on supervision and steering of the engineering contractor efforts

Projects include well-hook-ups, decomplexing and compression projects. The portfolio ranges from projects of a few million to 20 million EUR. Typically a number of projects (5-10) are matured in parallel in different stages of the opportunity realisation process.
early all technologies commonly used on onshore oil/(sour)gas treatment facilities are available in the Land Asset (eg., JT-LTS, glycol dehydration, silica-gel, recip/centrifugal compression, H2S removal, Mechanical Refrigeration, gas/oil/water separation etc. etc.), compression etc.

There is a strong interface with other (sub)surface technical disciplines as well as with disciplines like commercial, HSSE and others.
You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team of 16 people, including 3 Process Engineers.
