The Marine Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating the day to day operations of the company''s fleet in an effective and efficient manner.

Key reponsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

Charter Management:

  • Manage all vessel charter contracts from point of on-hire to contract expiration
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for ensuring safe and efficient Marine services operation in line with client expectations.

Vessel Standardization:

  • Optimize fleet capacity utilization and standardization
  • Maintain up to date quality manual QA/QC procedures including HSE programmes
  • Conduct internal audits of the shipboard safety system and for ISM Code adopted by the International Marine Organization
  • Control relevant rules, Regulation, Codes and Guidelines
  • Maintain vessel compliance to standard operating procedures

Vessel Budget Managemet

  • Control operational budget to ensure cost efficiency

Regulatory and Stakeholder Management

  • Provide periodic reports within timelines to clients and management
  • Design processes and policies to support the achievement of the company's Mission while maintaining full compliance to all Marine regulatory, safety and classification society Requirements.

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • A minimum of 15 years in a similar role.
  • Master's degree
  • International working experience is an added advantage
  • Previous experience as a sea-farer is an added advantage for this role.
