Our Industrial Services division offers integrated mechanical and environmental services for on and offshore maintenance, construction and shutdown projects. Services include HPWJ; chemical cleaning & chemical decontamination; flange management, in-situ machining and bolting services; heat exchanger services; hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing; leak sealing and hot-tapping; welding and fabrication; and general mechanical maintenance.

We are looking for Catalyst Technicians to support our shutdown works at a client site in central Queensland.

Key responsibilities

  • General fitting, machining and working with hand tools
  • Setting up and breaking down of equipment on site
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping
  • Monitoring and assisting with confined space entrants
  • Entering inert confined spaces to execute work scopes
  • Keeping equipment in good working order
  • Handling of catalyst media as required

Qualifications, experience and skills (ideally)

  • Trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering (fitting and machining)
  • Previous experience in confined space entry and mechanical operations
  • Manual drivers licence
  • Forklift licence
  • Crane, EWP
  • Confined space entry
  • Inert entry
  • Breathing Apparatus
  • Gas testing
  • Vacuum operations
