Chevron (Thailand) Ltd. is a subsidiary wholly owned of Chevron Corporation.

Established in 1948, Chevron (Thailand) Ltd. has been serving retail and commercial customers in Thailand for over a half a century through its Caltex brand. The company has a nationwide network of approximately 400 retail outlets. It distributes various fuels, including premium and regular gasohol, unleaded gasoline and diesel. Additionally, the company markets and distributes an extensive range of quality lubricants, including automotive engine oil and industrial lubricants.

The position is responsible for overseeing the Corporate Affairs function for Chevron (Thailand) Ltd. This includes internal and external communications, stakeholder management and government relations, issues communications and social investment. The position will play a critical role in fostering relations with the government of Thailand, industry and business associations and other key influencers. Excellent written and verbal communications skills both in Thai and English and a proven track record in building and maintaining internal and external relationships, driving results and applying strategic thinking to resolve issues are critical. Experience in working with government agencies responsible for the downstream energy sector is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

- Managing interactions with the government, industry and business associations and key influencers

- Developing and advancing company's key positions on issues and themes

- Overseeing all issues and crisis communications

- Supervising the development and implementation of impactful strategies and programs targeted at employees, media and local communities

- Serving as media spokesperson with local media outlets

Job Qualifications:
 

  • Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in media or mass communications, political science, public administration or related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in corporate affairs, including government affairs, internal and external communications and community and stakeholder management
  • Minimum 2 years leadership and supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated strong influencing skills, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated experience in managing broad internal and external communications responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English (with at least 850 TOEIC score)
  • Ability to relate to and work with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
