Our workforce, like our technology, is rapidly expanding and looking for a qualified Strategic Sales Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Strategic Sales Manager will directly manage the Nabors Drilling Solutions Field Sales Team supporting the growth of the product portfolio. This position will be responsible for building strategic market analysis, improving the reporting/bidding process, and further developing the capabilities of the Field Sales team to support the sale of the entire Nabors Drilling Solutions products and services.

• Define and implement Nabors Drilling Solutions strategies and ensure the effectiveness of the Field Sales team, while contributing to the overall success of NDS.


• Continue to develop the Field Sales organization and refine the onboarding process, technical capabilities and ensure that the team is provided the tools required to support the growth of the products and services.


• Efficiently manage the weekly activity of the Field Sales organization and ensure the team is effectively reporting information into Salesforce.


• Ensure that you are fostering the Nabors safety culture and that the Field Sales organization is engaged in supporting both themselves and their counterparts.


• Develop and maintain client relations in a cost effective manner and actively participate in support of growing the business with strategic accounts.


• Work with the product development teams, NDS Technical Sales Manager, and Business Analyst to develop targeted strategies to support the business to meet yearly targets.


• Promote all of Nabors Drilling Solutions products and services on a professional basis within the Company's marketing plans and actively solicit new customers for Nabors Drilling Solutions' RigWatch & myWells product line.


• Assess customers' operations to determine customer needs and recommend solutions to clients needs by providing sound technical advice.


• Monitor and maintain full knowledge of NDS products and services, including development projects, new technology, competitive activities, and market trends.


• Establishes and measures the achievement of the goals, priorities, and standards of the Field Sales organization.


• Foster and maintain a professional attitude and a teamwork concept among staff within all areas of the organization.


• Promote a culture of continuous improvement.


• Any other duties assigned by management.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three to five years of business development or direct sales experience
• Knowledge and understanding of oil and gas service industry

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Knowledge and understanding of oil and gas service industry
• Three to five years of management/supervisory experience
• Prior experience with Directional/MWD, Casing Running Services, Managed Pressure Drilling, or Rig Instrumentation / Analytics a plus
• Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering preferred

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS

• Self-starter capable of working with little supervision and initiate customer follow-up on a regular basis.
• Intermediate level Microsoft Office experience.
• Ability to deal effectively with a wide range of situations and establish professional customer relationships.
• Organized and have the ability to set and adhere to priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing, with strong presentation skills.
• Ability to work after hours and travel throughout the United States.
• Work conditions may include travel to and from other Nabors facilities and customer offices.
• Possible after hour assignments
