The Logistics Projects Specialist will collaborate with Product Line stakeholders, to drive logistics solutions, enabling the right product, is shipped to the right place, on time, damage free, for the lowest costs, whilst meeting customer requirements and timelines. The role reports to the US Geozone Logistics Manager and will be responsible for handling Logistics projects within the US and will develop, review or plan improvement to existing processes working with local leadership cross-functionally.


Manage Logistics projects for the US Geozone.

Provide network improvement recommendations and manage logistics tools and systems, such as domestic TMS.

Drive business process improvement and cost savings initiatives based on the requirements of the Product lines.

Supports the US Geozone delivery efforts driving trade compliance, cost efficiencies, consolidation schedules and load optimization.

Support any relevant investigations into perceived failures within logistics function that has resulted in client complaints or failures to meet operation requirements.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by manager.



Must have 5-10 years of US Trucking management experience.

Ability to work and interact with all levels of personnel, and maintain strong business relationships with carriers.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.

Superior analytical and problem solving skills

Must be customer oriented with excellent communications and collaboration skills.

3-5 years of Project Management experience (preferred).

Bachelor degree in Supply Chain or Business Management required, MBA a plus.

Ability to communicate information of a complex nature to various levels of management and external clients (written & verbal) in an easy to understand business language

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point and other MS office software.

Detail-oriented, organized team player; manages change through influence; flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; easily accepts constructive input. Ability to multi task and prioritize workload and the ability to operate across teams, cultural and organizational boundaries Ability to work independently without close supervision to expedite and follow up on requests and assigned projects

Interpersonal skills in order to interact/contribute to team and communicate with others in a professional manner

Strong team collaboration and influence skills
