We are seeking an experienced Lead Commissioning Engineer to work for a leading Oil & Gas Company in the UAE.
This position is a permanent staff position, based from their office in Dubai, with travel to offshore sites as required.
Lead Commissioning Engineer Role:
As the Lead Commissioning Engineer, you will be working closely and coordinating with other groups (internal and external) to execute a commissioning plan. This will include developing a company mechanical completion manual, developing and implementing a mechanical completion and commissioning procedures project by project, resource planning for each project and developing and implementing handover procedures.
Lead Commissioning Engineer Requirements:
We are ideally seeking for you to be degree qualified in Engineering, or similar.
The Lead Commissioning Engineer we are seeking will have solid (min 15 yrs) varied experience in Instrumentation/Electrical/Systems design, installation, hook up and commissioning.
You should have working knowledge and experience within the offshore oil and gas industry codes, specifications and practises, and of international standards and specifications including various equipment certifications.
You need to be experienced in instrumentation, electrical, control systems including DCS and PLC. Your knowledge should include hands on mechanical completions, pre-commissioning and commissioning experience. WE expect you to have working knowledge of various control system manufacturers/suppliers (including but not limited to), Allen Bradley, Honeywell, Emerson, Invensys...
We are looking for you to have offshore working experience. Whilst the role is based from the Office in Dubai, the successful applicant will be expected to travel to the offshore field for both short and long periods, as required.
You must have strong English language communication skills, being comfortable to communicate and influence at all personnel levels within a remote and multicultural environment.
