About the Role:

Responsible for the safe completion of assigned maintenance work activities including electrical isolations and switching programs and mentoring contractor team members to ensure work orders and the maintenance plan is successfully executed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Woodside procedures and standards
  • Maintain and operate process safety critical instrumentation, including transmitters, gas detectors, control valves, vibration monitoring, gas chromatographs
  • Perform switching and maintenance on low and high voltage electrical distribution systems
  • Maintain power generation systems, including gas turbine generator overhauls, associated instrumentation and control systems
  • Working effectively as part of a frontline team to achieve assigned activities safely and to schedule
  • Contribution of continuous improvement ideas including using technology to achieve better outcomes

 

Skills & Experience:

What we expect from you:

  • Electrical Trade Certificate is essential with a Certificate IV in Instrumentation highly desirable
  • Currently hold, or are eligible to obtain, am 'A' Grade Western Australian Electrical License
