About the Role:


Responsible for the safe completion of maintenance work activities including mechanical isolations and mentoring a contractor team to ensure work orders and the campaign maintenance plan is safely executed.

This position will be based residentially in Karratha, Western Australia and offers lots of opportunities, a great lifestyle and a family friendly roster that's one of the best in the industry.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining working area in a safe manner
  • Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide variety of heavy equipment including valves, pumps and turbines etc.
  • Responsible for preparing and collecting permits pertaining to execution activities
  • Responsible for working as an active team member to ensure the maintenance efficiencies are maximised for the area
  • Responsible for ensuring work order operations are executed to plan
  • Contribution of continuous improvement ideas including using technology to achieve better outcomes

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Mechanical Trade Certificate (heavy duty, plant, machinist or pipe fitter) is essential with hydraulics experience desirable
