VP, Construction

Petroplan is excited to announce a new VP-Level retained search being conducted on behalf of a reputable and ambitious organization in the Energy sector.

The VP of Construction will be a key leader in the business, responsible for 250-300 employees including both professional/managerial staff and field professionals across a large territory in Texas.

This position is critical to implementing a large infrastructure capital plan (>$1B) over the next few years and will require a seasoned individual with strong leadership experience.

In this position as VP of Construction you will prioritize safety at all times while partnering with others to achieve results. This role requires a polished and professional individual who is skilled in setting objectives, has strong critical thinking skills and a keen business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs the construction and maintenance of large infrastructure projects
  • Develops and implements strategic plans which are in alignment with key organizational objectives
  • Develop and manage capital & departmental budgets
  • Present to executives / Board of Directors as required
  • Partners closely finance and project management functions to achieve results
  • Act as a member of the senior leadership team, providing input into key initiatives, supporting objectives and effectively communicating messages to staff

Based in Texas, relocation will be provided if required, along with a lucrative salary and benefits package.
