JOB SUMMARY: The Systems Controls Technicians will form a large part of the Offshore Maintenance Team and will require experience with a computerized maintenance management system including preventive, predictive and conditions monitoring.

 

PREREQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-10 years held in the position with a 10 years total experience working offshore / onshore in the oil & gas industry
  • Diploma in either Instrumentation and Control Engineering or Electronics Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Candidates should be experienced in servicing Instrumentation equipment and have a broad working knowledge of Drilling Control Systems to help maintain the control and safety systems.
  • IT background, computer skills and experience with remote access tools.
  • Basic English language and writing skills
  • Must pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background/Pre-Employment Screening Checks.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Repair and maintenance of Mechanized Semi-Automated controlled Drill floor equipment.
  • Servicing Instrumentation equipment
  • Maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot various analytical instruments and analyzer sampling systems.
  • Other duties as required
