Worley is looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to join our Oil and Gas project delivery operation based in one of our Aberdeen office locations for a duration of 6 months.

 

Key objective:

Working within the Supply Chain Team to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to carry out Administrative duties for the relevant Supply Chain Management disciplines whilst complying with relevant Company policies, procedures and project schedules.

 

Project:

Your skills and expertise will be utilised across a range of domestic and international projects, starting in the bid phase, continuing through to award, start up and execution.

 

Primary duties:

  • Undertake administration duties with pre and post award activities in line with project schedule
  • Ensure compliance with Worley Code of Business Conduct and the Supply chain Code of Business Conduct
  • Adherence with Company policies and procedures
  • Maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Acquire knowledge of Supply Chain Management Systems, e.g. PaMMS, etc
  • Liaise and interface with all levels of personnel on the project Assist the project teams with the development of strategy documents
  • Develop working knowledge of Supply Chain Management systems to provide cover as and when required
  • Assist the procurement team with compilation of bid lists (using FPAL / Worley / Customer Supplier Database)
  • Assist with the compilation of tender documents and issue to the selected Supplier's
  • Assist the procurement and subcontracts teams with the bid receipt, opening and distribution
  • Attend and document meetings as appropriate;
  • Daily issue of designated reports, including obtaining and circulating feedback to the Supply Chain / Procurement Lead
  • Input and circulation of Procurement KPI data and reports
  • Assist with the compilation of contracting and procurement documents, e.g. CBE, RTA, etc
  • Assist with issue and filing (electronic and hard copy) of purchase orders and associated documentation for the supply of materials, equipment and minor engineered packages
  • Post order management including liaison with Expediting and Inspection
  • Attend progress meetings as appropriate
  • Engage suppliers on performance issues and providing feedback through FPAL
  • Maintain and close-out purchase order records, where applicable
  • Facilitate communication with allied disciplines and functions
  • Promote and adhere to ethical behaviour in line with Anti-Bribery and Corruption policy
  • Promote Health, Safety, Security and Environment within the Supply Chain

 

Required qualifications / certification:

  • SVQ / Standard Grade Education or equivalent
  • Higher Education desirable but not essential
  • Previous Supply Chain related experience
  • Understanding on supply chain management processes and commercially aware
  • Experience of working in a team environment
  • Literate in Microsoft systems eg Word, Excel
  • Previous Oil and Gas experience preferable
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety
  • Highly motivated
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate with both internal and external sources
  • Demonstrate knowledge and use of supply chain management systems
  • Participate in meetings (bid clarification, kick-off, progress, etc)
  • Ability to develop relationships, with suppliers and customers
  • Understand and complete supplier performance reviews
