Reports to

Regional Sales Manager with quarterly reviews

 

Overall Responsibility

Responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing new client contacts. Work closely with Business Development Manager and Sr Account Manager with new and prospective clients and or following up from Regional Sales Manager hand over of account. Identify market opportunities and works with the technical teams and operations to grow profitable revenue for the company. This position requires the Sales Account Manager to adhere to NCS sales process including but not limited to, prospecting for initial contact, quoting, job planning, job execution and post job maintenance.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Establish key contacts among potential clients, keeps abreast of development plans of existing clients and has a very good understanding of contract terms and provisions
  • Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction
  • Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising and exhibitions.
  • Job tasks require frequent interchange and completion of job tasks depend in large part upon effective interaction with others
  • Respond to and follow up sales inquiries using appropriate methods
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
  • Establish, maintain a relationship with NCS's management team, provide customer feedback and potential service job complete with timing
  • Present technical presentations and write and publish technical papers
  • Field visits to install and/or frac site may be required on occasion
  • Continuous training for product and procedural knowledge

Qualifications

  • BS degree in related field and / or commensurate years of related industry knowledge. Frac, Coil Tubing, and / or completion tool knowledge is preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively with client representatives and NCS management
  • Comfortable with large groups and public speaking (Effective presentation, and negotiating skills)
  • Technical working knowledge of NCS HSE program, products and procedures (will train if needed)
  • Proficient in use of CRM tools (will train if needed)
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager with ability to handle multiple account management projects at a time with sharp attention to detail
