JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the HR Director - Rewards, HR Operations, the Global Compensation Manager will be responsible for leading a team and designing, implementing, and managing the full portfolio of global compensation programs and processes focused on the attraction and retention of talent from around the world and ensuring the portfolio is market competitive as well as delivered efficiently and effectively to our employees.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design programs and policies to ensure market competitiveness combined with talent attraction and retention

Design and manage internal job and grade structure Coordinate salary survey participation to ensure survey timelines are met and maintain global survey budgets and relationship with vendors

Conduct market pricing, prepare analysis & range movement recommendation for each country

Utilize benchmark salary market data to analyze and develop salary ranges and structures for each country

Research, compile data, prepare statistical reports including charts, graphs and spreadsheets, and analyze the results for presentations for the organization, including senior leadership

Develop communication and change management plans to effectively and responsibly communicate compensation programs and details to all levels

Partner with HRMS and technology partners to ensure our systems support current compensation programs and accurately reflect compensation data, assist with report generation to support business needs, and consult on system enhancements to improve the way we do business

Identify issues, challenges, or problems and recommend process improvements

Stay up-to-date on current compensation-related legislation to ensure compliance with applicable employment-related federal and state statutory requirements, as well as labor contract agreements which may affect compensation policies and employee pay

Research special compensation and incentive programs to support the organization's global objectives

May assist in Executive Compensation analysis and recommendations or other Executive Short-Term and Long-Term Incentive plans

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in related field and CCP a plus

10+ years experience in designing and administering US and global compensation programs in a public company environment

5+ years people leadership experience and oil and gas industry experience a plus

Strong strategic, analytic, and problem-solving

Process oriented with strong organizational skills

Ability to take initiative and work independently

Collaborative approach to working with internal customers and experience managing external benefit partners and other third-party vendors

Strong change management and communication design, planning and implementation skills

Team player who responds to challenge with a sense of urgency

Strong understanding of state and federal laws, regulations and statutes relating to compensation

Prior experience successfully implementing and managing compensation systems to administer variable pay programs
