Chevron Holdings Inc. (CHI) is a pioneer and leading multi-function Shared Services Center in the Philippines located in Makati City. With a workforce of more than 1,000, CHI delivers business services and solutions in areas such as finance, human resources, procurement, marketing support and information technology.

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Finance Analyst (Payroll) located in Makati City, Philippines.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

1. Payroll Processing
  • Ensures that payroll are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinates with Human Resources and third party payroll service provider, for submission of payroll updates and other pertinent requirements for the local payroll processing.
  • Records payroll entries in the ERP for locations handled
  • Performs Accounts Reconciliation -- Analyzes and reconciles payroll account balances as assigned.
  • Handles Pension Accounting and Reporting
  • Coordinates employee deductions for labor/credit union and insurance company dues, filing and remittances of SSS/Philhealth/Pag-ibig and payroll taxes to respective governmental agencies
  • Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned


2. Process Improvement
  • Contributes in setting goals with team for continuous cost effectiveness and service quality improvement in enhancing cost efficiency in own work.
  • Participates in special projects as assigned by Team Leader and ensures that project objectives are met.•


3. Customer Centric
  • Responds to customer complaints by gathering facts relative to the incident. Determines cause and assesses impact and determines corrective action. Communicates facts and corrective action to concerned parties and implements long-term preventive action to minimize its recurrence.
  • Responds to customer queries in a polite and timely manner, ensuring that the information provided is accurate.•


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills
  • Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment
  • Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds•


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in SAP is an advantage, but not required
  • Three years work experience•


Relocation Options:

Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.

Selected candidates will work in Philippines under the local payroll system and benefits.
