Our Client, an Oil & Gas Operator are currently seeking a Technical Safety Engineer of the highest calibre for a permanent opportunity based in the UK. The role and its responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:-

A robust and proven track record as a Technical Safety Engineer is a prerequisite to be in a position to consider this role.
Extensive knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry will be required from the successful candidate.
Recent UKCS exposure is required and it would be highly advantageous if applicants have worked directly for Oil & Gas Operating Companies.
The role will deliver safety studies internally and via contractors, including with offshore visits.
Reporting to the Technical Safety Supervisor this is an onshore position but extensive offshore visits will be required from the successful incumbent as and when required, to meet the needs of the business.
Applications are invited from experienced candidates capable of representing the Client externally in order to seek out new technologies and report back technical safety best practices.
The successful individual will be expected to support operations with hazard identification, risk assessment and technical safety advice as well as completing incident investigations offshore.
Candidates will be expected to be excellent communicators, fluent in both written and verbal English.
Candidate must be Degree qualified within an Engineering or Science discipline and proof must be provided on request.
Industry required competencies must be valid including:- BOSIET, MEDICAL and CA-EBS.
