One of the largest oil and gas company needs to fill the positions of Safety and Environmental professionals. These jobs required relocation to Saudi Arabia.

The interested applicants must available for a personal interview in Houston during April 26-29, 2019. The interview related travel expenses will be reimbursed up to US $ 500. The selected candidates would be given immediate job offers after the interview.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • BS degree in engineering, safety engineering, industrial hygiene, or environmental science, or in a related field is preferred.
  • Must have minimum 10 years of related safety/operational experience in Oil and Gas/Construction sector
  • Professional Safety qualification is an added advantage
  • Familiar with international safety standards.
  • Must have good communication skills, verbal and written, with all levels from client, management to workers and subs.
  • Must have good computer skills.
  • Willing to work in Saudi Arabia

Core Duties of Safety Engineer:

  • Manage the implementation of effective Product Safety and Environmental Management.
  • Ensure that safety issues are resolved in a timely and competent manner.
  • Provide the consistent application of Engineering Governance within Product Safety and Environmental for the project.
  • Ensure that the evidence required to support Product Safety claims is retained in an appropriate and auditable manner.
  • Management of all safety activities.
  • Development and coordination of processes across all Functions within the Project to deliver the requirements of the project's Safety & Environmental Management Plan.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate interactive lines of communication.
  • Create and maintain a list of the Safety and Environmental accountabilities across all Functions within the Project.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of IT based Hazard Log management systems.
  • Management of customer expectations through acceptance of design safety solutions.
  • In depth knowledge of current Safety Management Processes.

Core Duties of Environmental Coordinator:

  • Coordinate and oversee environmental operations to ensure regulatory compliance and permit renewals.
  • Oversee waste disposal and treatment programs.
  • Ensure that industrial operations are in compliance with local, state changing regulations.
  • Perform regular site inspections for environment compliances.
  • Stay updated with new developments in environmental policies and regulations.
  • Provide assistance and job trainings to team members when required.
  • Identify root causes of environmental problems and propose appropriate action plans.
  • Assess potential environmental risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to maintain environmental management and monitoring programs.
  • Identify areas of improvements to reduce environmental damages and wastes.
  • Maintain complete and clear documentations for environmental operations for reference purposes.
  • Develop hazard control programs to reduce contaminations and accidents.
