Our client is looking for a Stores Person for a permanent position, located in Aberdeenshire.


Providing support to the Stores and Logistics team, whilst effectively managing inward and outward stock movement. Ensuring that Stores inventory records including all associated documentation are maintained accurately.


  • To ensure safe unloading/loading of all purchased goods within Goods Inward area / yard.
  • To check all materials against purchase orders and process accurate documentation as per procedures.
  • To ensure all goods are stored safely within job location bins or stock product bins.
  • To ensure the correct issue of stock parts to specific projects / production areas as per procedures.
  • To assist with the packaging and delivery of all standard and project specific spares packages.
  • Liaise with Stores Business Administrator on all parts / material receipt non-conformances ensuring all relevant reports are generated.
  • Maintaining the safety and security of all tools, equipment and parts within designated Stores areas.
  • Report any damage of tools, equipment and parts to the Stores Business Administrator.
  • Consolidation of parts required for upcoming and ongoing projects by selecting correct parts from stock with the use of parts lists etc.
  • Liaise with Stores Business Administrator to ensure that minimum and maximum stock levels are adhered to.
  • To ensure safe unloading/loading of all purchased goods within Goods Inward area / yard.
  • Ensure all surplus project goods are returned to stock in good order.
  • Ensure that all goods being dispatched externally leave with the correct delivery documentation.
  • Assist with the packing and delivery of all standard and project specific spares packages.
  • Ensure all retuned project spars are correct and free from damage before returning goods to stock.
  • Ensure all high value stock items are tagged and documented in accordance with procedures.
  • Ensure all offshore and workshop PPR is issued in accordance with procedures.
  • Ensure all designated Stores areas are kept tidy and free from hazards.
  • Assist with local collections and deliveries as required.
  • Ensure all doors, windows are stock locations are locked/secured as required.

Mentoring Development

  • Identify training needs and submit TRF's

Department Management

  • Attend and participate in departmental and project meetings
  • Liaise with Stores Business Administrator and production departments on a daily basis to ensure all parts are allocated in accordance with procedures.
  • Processing of material certification before passing to Documentation Control

HSEQ Leadership

  • Stores/goods inward experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Team Player
  • Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure with a pro-active report
  • Forklift / Telehandler License
  • HGV class 1 / 2 / CPC
  • IT literate with Microsoft package experience
