Our Client, an Oil & Gas Operator building and fostering world-class expertise in the business of North Sea decommissioning are currently seeking a Decommissioning Project Support Engineer for a staff position in the UK. The role and its responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:-
A robust understanding of the Oil & Gas Industry with focus on decommissioning would be highly advantageous when considering this role.
Candidates having an in-depth technical understanding of the UK market including decommissioning activities would be preferred by the Client.
Experience of working within prestigious organisations within the Oil & Gas arena would be given due consideration by the Client.
The role will support the Decommissioning Project Delivery Manager and Cost Planning & Finance Manager with project controls and project delivery assurance activities.
Candidates must have the ability to present work at Management meetings with the flexibility to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
Compliance of the Client's Company Policies & Procedures must be adhered to at all times.
Applications are invited from candidates with the ability to constructively challenge Plan & Activity owners assumptions for consistency, logic and robustness.
The role will require the ability to communicate effectively within a multi-disciplined team acting as an integrator.
The successful incumbent shall provide support and preparation material for specific work activities allocated to either the Decommissioning Project Delivery Manager & the Cost, Planning & Finance Manager.
The role will include identifying key activities within a 6 month look-ahead.
Prepare monthly Risk Summary and highlight changes for Management review as well as ensuring mitigation's actions are aligned with Planning tool - Primavera P6.
Candidates must be Degree Qualified within an Engineering discipline and proof provided on request.
