Inventory Supervisor

Role Purpose Statement:

The inventory supervisor is responsible for the overall Inventory Management Program. This includes establishing and updating the program, including the controls and technology tools, to achieve a robust program.

Essential Duties
• Implementation and execution of inventory management and control strategies
• Develop and monitor operational performance of inventory program (see performance indicators)
• Maintain, review, produce, and evaluate documentation pertaining to inventory to ensure a full audit trail
• Provide expertise to maintain processes regarding all transactions and team interactions as it pertain to inventory accuracy
• Execute corrective actions and/or adjustments as encountered (i.e. price changes, quotes, inventory/financial adjustments, posting receipts, add/delete items, research etc.)
• Create and maintain reliable reports with timely and accurate information
• Analyse monthly results and initiate mitigating actions as required
• Interaction with internal departments: accounting, field operations, suppliers, etc.
• Train staff on tools and compliance requirements for proper inventory controls
• Maintain organized and clean warehouses

Knowledge Skills and Experience Requirements
• Proficient in computer skills, and conversant with the use of MS Word, MS Excel, Email and internet systems
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, with high-regard for meeting deadlines
• Relevant industrial or business experience
• Fluent in English
