PROBLEM SOLVING

We're looking for someone that can act as a trusted consultant to our clients, bringing industry insight and regulatory knowledge together with a commitment to deliver service excellence as part of a partnership approach. Responsibilities include:

  • To develop bespoke solutions to the complex issues faced when ensuring the safe, compliant and reliable operation and maintenance of engineering equipment
  • To build strong relationships with key individuals at all levels within the client organisation
  • To contribute to relevant standards committees and cross-industry groups
  • To identify, pursue and achieve opportunities for commercial growth

 


EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL UNDERSTANDING

Candidate requirements include:

 

 

  • Educated to degree level or Min incorporated engineer
  • 5 years' relevant industry experience
  • Experience of Machinery consultancy.
  • Understanding of the latest regulations and standards
  • Proven technical understanding of engineering equipment
  • Detailed knowledge of in-service inspection procedures and processes in an ISO 17020 environment.
  • Understanding of the safety rules and associated codes of practice that are applicable to the full range of plant, installations and systems within their discipline or disciplines.

 


Knowledge of appropriate test procedures which may be employed and the interpretation and limitations of those techniques

 

 

 

 

  • CE marking.
  • Failure mode and life cycle trend analysis.
  • Life management schemes.
  • Pre-purchase Inspections.
  • Undertaking condition surveys.
  • Machinery Management schemes
