The Metalworking Fluid Technical Manager at Bureau Veritas provides experienced technical support for the Metalworking product line and is as a key technical resource for Business Development, Operations and Customer Service. This person has a primary responsibility to provide technical oversight on all aspects of routine laboratory sample analysis and provide technical support to customers. The Metalworking Fluid Technical Manager will be involved in troubleshooting, quality reviews and lead the research and development of new analytical technologies.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- BS degree or above in Chemistry preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience with metalworking fluid technology.
- Knowledge of metalworking fluids of various types - soluble oil, semi-synthetic, synthetic.
- Expertise with all routine analytical procedures used in the analyses of metalworking samples.
- Knowledge of metalworking processes - cutting, grinding, forming, rust preventing, cleaning.
- Ability to develop customized test protocols as needed to solve unique customer issues.
- Knowledge of the operating principles of relevant analytical instrumentation, as well as capabilities and limitations.
