Our client is looking for a Accounts Assistant for a 5 month contract position, located in Westhill, Aberdeen.


  • Responsible for the day to day processing of information within the Treasury department, most importantly the daily payments, receipts and reconciling bank accounts to cashbook balances. Assistance in providing daily cash forecasting information. Preparation of month reports and assistance in monthly procedures are also a key role in the Treasury Assistant position.
  • Part time role - Required to work Monday & Tuesday


  • Download bank transaction information.
  • Prepare Daily Bank Balance Report.
  • Process all daily payments and receipts.
  • Maintenance of cashbooks and reconciliation to bank statement balances.
  • Reconcile Petty Cash and input to the ledger.
  • Prepare monthly Bank Consolidated Report and Bank Reconciliations.
  • Liaise with TGBS India for Accounts Payable payments.
  • Liaise with Paris head office for cash requirements.
  • Issue Daily and Monthly Exchange Rates.
  • Reconcile GBP cashbook to Oracle A/P and A/R ledgers.
  • Assist with Treasury Month End.
  • Maintenance of Direct Debit listing.
  • Provide administrator cover for Authority Approvals Database.
  • Provide holiday cover within Treasury Department as appropriate.
