Job Description

The Turnaround Scheduler is a key role in our QGC Asset based in Brisbane. In this role, you will provide scheduling expertise and facilitate smooth and safe execution of our upstream operation turnarounds.

You will ensure schedule execution requirements are clearly understood in relation to Cost, Schedule Risk, Critical activities, HSSE (SIMOPS) and Resourcing profiles.

This position is accountable to produce an integrated schedule that fosters safe, reliable area operations. You will need to optimise schedules to minimise risk and maximise values to reflect our business priorities and objectives.

The key deliverables for this role are focused around ensuring delivery of an optimised Area Schedule that is integrated across all the functions in the Upstream Operations. You must identify and drive resolution of cross-functional conflicts and ensure requests, priorities and asset criticalities are reviewed and scheduled to resources accordingly.

To make sure you are a success in the role you must ensure the maintenance activities are technically supported and labour and resource utilisation is optimised, this is paramount to successful drive the work and complete the schedule maintenance on time and in an efficient manner.

You will need to keep on top of your Monitoring to seek continual improvement in asset reliability through effective task completion rates.

Requirements

The candidate we are therefore seeking for this position, will have;

  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance, turnaround or project management with proven knowledge in Scheduling.
  • Knowledge of Turnaround process and Turnaround preparation and execution practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience in GWMS(Maximo), Maxvera and Primavera P6 is preferable.
  • Knowledge of construction/maintenance practices and processes
  • A Demonstrated working knowledge of corrective and preventative maintenance and demonstrated experience in developing and analysing reports, and associated reporting systems is essential to the role.

This is a challenging role that requires excellent attention to details to ensure schedules and plans are ready, to minimise risk and maximise the value. To be successful in this role you will can communicate cross-functionally and across different levels in the business, with suppliers and remote location staff.
