We are seeking for an Electricians and Mechanical Craftsmen Supervisor to work under Northern Area Gas Producing Department serving Karan, Arabiyah and Hasbah offshore gas facilities or onshore maintenance team in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The incumbent is responsible for all planned/scheduled repairs or maintenance of plant(s) equipment. Also, to supervise and give work direction to approximately 10 high skilled craftsmen organized into craft crews who perform a variety of work on the different types of critical plant equipment.
As a successful candidate you should hold a formal training and certifications related to the job.
You must have a minimum of 15 years maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry. Previously working at least 5 years in high pressure sour gas offshore fields with a gas operating company.
Minimum 5 years' experience supervising a multi-skilled maintenance team within the oil & gas and/or petrochemical industry.
You should have a thorough knowledge of the range of offshore process and utility equipment on an oil and gas processing facility.
You must have experience in maintenance of the following:
Hydraulic Power System (PROSERVE), Valves (High Pressure Rating), High Pressure Pumps (LEWA), Centrifugal Pumps, Diesel Engines, HVAC, Air Conditioning Units, Compressors, Choke Valves (Cameron, CCI), HIPPS Valves (CCI), Mono Rail Cranes, Pedestal Cranes and X'mas Trees.
You must have gained experience with Offshore Emergency Response Team in oil & gas industry.
You should have in depth working knowledge of CMMS (SAP preferred, but not essential).
Duties & Responsibilities:
You are expected to be able to perform the following:
Supervise a team of maintenance Craftsmen, 3rd party contract personnel and vendors to undertake offshore maintenance works.
Accountable for the safe, timely and quality execution of all maintenance work, and associated activities, to ensure asset integrity is maintained, plant/equipment availability and business objectives are achieved.
Ensure thorough pre-job risk assessments are undertaken for all non-routine activities, and that they are accurately reflected in the Permit to Work System.
Oversee risk assessments, participate in toolbox talks, undertake permit audits and conduct worksite visits on a regular basis.
Ensure all supervised personnel, and those working in managed areas, are supplied with the required PPE, it is in good condition and used appropriately.
Act as a key person during Turnaround & Inspection and shutdowns of the offshore facility.
Conduct on-the-job training and mentoring of field technicians, follow up and provide them full support and knowledge sharing.
Ensure all personnel have valid and current work permits and required certifications.
